In this Jamorama review I will be taking a closer look at this popular guitar training program and find out why it has been receiving so much attention and praise since the year of its creation in 2003.

The Jamorama course is aimed at beginners and intermediate guitar players. Each lesson is taught in a step-by-step, methodical way, which includes audio, video and text that will guide you through the process of learning. The high quality videos clearly show the training teachers chord and strumming hand simultaneously so that you get to see all the action in detail.

Each lesson is thoroughly explained and shown in such detail that you will never be left scratching your head confused.
Early lessons focus on showing you how to navigate around your guitar, hand positions, basic strumming techniques, and how to play basic chords. As you progress through the lessons you will further deepen your knowledge and playing ability as you learn how to play power chords, advanced strumming techniques and how to play by ear.

You will be exposed to a variety of playing styles in the Jamorama course; this not only keeps it interesting but also allows you to evolve as a musician. You will be taught everything from rock to classical and everything in between.

When you think of rock guitar gods such as Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, and Eric Clapton, you may get really excited about the musical possibilities that exist with the guitar. There is no point comparing yourself to these rock gods, as the only person you should be comparing to is yourself!

Looking to these great players for inspiration is a great idea but do not fall into the trap of comparing yourself to them or you will set yourself up for disappointment.

Click Here To Become A Rock God

If you question natural talent, yes it is of course true that many of the all time greatest guitarists were born with a lot of natural talent and some look as if they were truly blessed by the rock gods from above. But this is not always the case! Many times we see top guitarists play and they blow us away with their talent, skill and technique that we instantly assume that they are “naturals”.

But do you see the large amount of time and effort the greats put into practicing behind the scenes, when the spotlight is off and it is just the guitarist alone with the guitar in their hands? Unless you are spying on them, the obvious answer is no. You do not see the countless hours and hours that they put into practicing their rock guitar lessons, over and over again. If you did, then maybe you would change your tune about them being born talented.

The real key to success with playing the guitar is…action! And by action I mean dedicating yourself to your art and practicing as much as you possibly can. Massive action is what separates the “haves” and the “have-nots” from achieving their rock and roll dreams. As Jimi Hendrix said; “music is my religion”, and you need to view music the same way to become the best that you can be.

Sure, natural ability and talent can give you a big boost initially but if all you are riding on is god given talent and you do not apply yourself and take action, then all the talent in the world cannot make you become an amazing musician.

But you cannot just practice the guitar aimlessly and with no structure, as you will not progress as fast as you may want to. This is why having excellent rock guitar lessons to follow along with is vital to your success.

Learning the guitar is no easy task! There is so much to learn to become a fantastic player and the structure that lessons can bring to your playing will help you to focus on becoming a well-rounded guitarist.

Stop Dreaming About Being The Best! Click Here To Make It A Reality…

You do not just want to learn how to play your favorite songs, instead keep challenging yourself with songs that push you to become better. Do not fall into the trap that many guitarists do and skip over guitar theory.

Practice scales, chord theory, read TAB and learn to play by ear. Do not take the short and easy road, because that road will gradually become long and hard if you ignore guitar theory. So while it may be hard and boring at first, it will make you a better player.

If you diligently practice everyday to become the best guitarist possible you never know what heights you can reach. You may think becoming the next rock guitar god is impossible…but there is only one-way to find out! So take massive action and practice your rock guitar lessons over and over again.

So you’re looking for lead guitar lessons? With the overload of information that is available to you with a few clicks of the mouse button it can be hard to sort through all the information and find lessons that are actually worth following along with.

On your quest to find effective lead guitar lessons there are four things that you absolutely must avoid so that you get the most out of your practice sessions.

Click Here For The Ultimate Lead Guitar Lessons

1. Doing Lessons That Are Not Right For Your Ability Level

Everyone wants to “aim big” when it comes to learning something they are passionate about and there is nothing wrong with that, until you start thinking you can run before you learn how to walk.

If you are a complete beginner, stick with lead guitar lessons that are for beginners. Learning how to play the guitar is not a race! You will become a better player if you do lessons that complement your ability level and you learn each lesson thoroughly before moving on to the next one.

2. Acting On Bad Advice

When you are a beginner to intermediate guitar player it is not unusual for you to seek advice, but be careful who you receive your advice from because it can cause you to pick up bad playing habits, learn wrong techniques and hinder your overall musical growth.

I am sure that you are thinking: “so how do I know what is good advice and what is bad advice?” As a beginner, it can be difficult to tell the difference but as they say, “knowledge will set you free.” Either learn from highly authoritative sources, do your own backup research, or learn through multiple teachers and sources of information.

3. Not Practicing Guitar Theory

If you want to get the most out of lead guitar lessons then you will need to learn guitar theory. Yes, it may be boring to some people but if you want to become an amazing player then the fastest way to achieve this goal is by learning and applying theory lessons. This means practicing scales, chords, intervals, harmonized scales and rhythm work.

If you want to get a firm grip on how songs are put together and how they work, then guitar theory is an absolute must. If you have ever dreamed about creating your own songs, then guitar theory will make that dream a reality.

Click Here To Start Playing Guitar Like All Your Favorite Artists

4. Not Making Practice A Top Priority

No matter what you learn from you lead guitar lessons, if you are not diligently putting all that you learn to practice then you are just wasting your ability. If you just like playing every now and again and you do not have any lofty goals for your guitar playing, then practice whenever you want. But if you want to take your guitar playing to the next level then you are going to need to make practicing everyday a top priority.

Once you are being instructed by either a professional or are using effective guitar lessons, the only way to excel at playing guitar is to practice like crazy. Throw all excuses out the window and dedicate yourself to your art.

Now you know the four things you must avoid so that you can get the most out of your lead guitar lessons. Just being aware of these things can be beneficial but putting them to action is where you will find the most benefits.

There are many reasons why people want to start learning the electric guitar. It could be because they love playing the instrument, or they want to be in a band one day, or it could even be just to look cool!

Whatever the reasons, it always helps getting quality electric guitar lessons. Because if you get bad instruction you will tend to practice poorly and by practicing poorly there is a good chance that your playing will suffer. So getting the right instruction is invaluable.

Guitar lessons come in many forms, the traditional way of getting lessons is to find a teacher. Some people find that they can learn better through studying from books and naturally talented musicians find that they can pick up electric guitar skills from watching the other people play.

Click Here To Become An Electric Guitar Playing Wizard

There are also many online guitar courses that teach through video, audio and written material. These can be excellent resources because you can follow along at your own pace and you can do electric guitar lessons whenever you want.

Getting a teacher to teach you electric guitar lessons can be an invaluable way to learn the guitar, as long as you have a good teacher. Teachers can give you immediate feedback about what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong. Good teachers will also help adjust the lessons to your skill and ability level.

Learning through a teacher can be expensive, so if you are strapped for cash then it may not be a great option for you until you can afford the lessons.

Teaching yourself from a book can also be a great way to learn guitar but it is not suitable for everyone. If you are a self-disciplined and motivated person then you may find that this is a great option for you. The big thing that is missing by teaching yourself from a book is the feedback element that a real teacher can give. You will also be missing out learning by the ear as a book obviously only teaches in text. Learning through a book is a cheap way to get lessons but it definitely has its drawbacks.

Online electric guitar lessons and courses are popping up all over the internet these days. Some are totally free, whereas others charge money. The free ones can be a good start but are often lacking in detail and some can be badly put together and be hard to follow along with.

Click Here Start Learning Electric Guitar Today

Paid courses tend to be much better in quality and offer more detailed lessons. There are some courses that are not much better that what is offered for free and these are a complete waste of money. The better quality online paid courses will be a multi-sensory learning experience that teaches through video, audio, text and have a support system setup so that you can get all your questions answered.

So do not underestimate the importance of having quality lessons when you are learning how to play the electric guitar. As important as practicing is, you will only get the most out of your practice sessions if you have certain guidelines to follow. So whether you choose to learn by yourself or with a teacher always make sure that you are doing quality electric guitar lessons otherwise you are just wasting your time and limiting your playing potential.

In this Guitar Scale Mastery review I will be exploring this membership course that focuses exclusively on the important skill of mastering guitar scales.

Craig Bassett, the creator of Guitar Scale Mastery has created a system that is aimed at intermediate guitar players who want to excel at playing the guitar. The subject of learning scales cannot be ignored if you want to take your guitar playing to the next level.

Learning scales is not often on the priority list for many guitarists because many view it as a boring and dry topic. This may be true to some extent, but Craig has done a wonderful job in creating his training so that learning scales can actually be fun and enjoyable.

Click Here To Check Out Guitar Scale Mastery

In Guitar Scale Mastery you will be taught all the popular guitar scales including all minor and major scales, as well as the pentatonic scales. Learning these scales quickly and easily will have a whole host of benefits to your playing. You will notice improvements in technique and playing lead, an increase in speed and smoothness, and you will be an actual musician, rather than just someone who “plays” the guitar.

The approach that Craig uses in the Guitar Scale Mastery system is based on focusing on developing five skills that he says are essential to becoming a scale master. These five skills are the ears, fingers, eyes, intellect, and applications. Each of these skills are important as a part but when they are put together as a whole learning each scale becomes quick, easy and you will understand music in a completely new and exciting way.

Guitar Scale Mastery Features

Become A Musician – Many beginner and intermediate guitar players are happy with learning how to play a few songs but have no knowledge of how the songs are put together or what key they are in. If you want to play solo, improvise or write your own music and songs one day, then learning to play scales effectively is the key.

Ear Training – I was so happy that this is part of Guitar Scale Mastery because it is something that I know is very important but I have never been focused that much on it until now. Learning really to “hear” the scales that you are playing and distinguish each note is a powerful skill that is invaluable.

Guitar Scale Activators – These special backing tracks are fantastic to practice over and I found that they helped me considerably as I was learning the various scales and guitar licks. Use the activators whenever you practice and you will find that you will remember each scale quickly and easily.

Click Here To Take Your Guitar Playing To The Next Level

As I complete this Guitar Scale Mastery review, just a word of warning, this is not for beginner guitarists! You will need to be an intermediate player and be able to read basic guitar TAB. If you have these requirements then I wholeheartedly recommend this system to anyone that has the desire to become not only a fantastic guitarist but also an amazing musician at the same time.

Learning guitar scales can be a frustrating experience for many beginner guitar players (as well as advanced) but with practice it becomes much easier and you will be able to move on to more advanced techniques such as chord theory.

If you want to learn guitar scales then this article is a good start because it will be outlining what they are and how they are constructed. You will also find out why it is important to learn guitar scales and the benefits that you can expect.

Scale Definition

By definition, a scale is a range of pitches that are arranged in ascending or descending order or in other words from low pitch to high, or from high pitch to low. Scales are composed of whole and half steps. A whole step is a measurement of distance between two notes, while a half step is the measurement of distance between one note and the next.

Click Here To Master Guitar Scales Quickly And Easily

Different scales follow a set pattern of notes that need to be played in a specific order. Scales also play a major role in the melodies of music so learning them are very important.

Benefits Of Learning Scales

Learning guitar scales are one of the most powerful actions you can do to improve your guitar playing technique, musical knowledge, increase your speed, skill at improvising, developing a good ear and music creation. Scales will also lay a strong foundation for more advanced lessons such as chord theory.

Although many people think of scales as being a boring subject matter, if you diligently learn a wide range of scales, your guitar playing will improve significantly. The time spent in practicing scales is an investment that will open many doors of possibility for you to become a great guitar player.

Types Of Scales

There are numerous types of guitar scales and the variation that you play will often be decided by the style and type of music that you choose. There are minor and major scales, altered scales, pentatonic scales and many more. The most beneficial scales to learn and master as a beginner are as follows: both the major and minor pentatonic scale, the major diatonic scale (Ionian), and the minor pentatonic scale (Blues).

Click Here To Take Your Guitar Playing Abilities To The Next Level

Best Way To Learn Guitar Scales

It is easy for beginners to get frustrated and overwhelmed if they try to learn too many scales at once. Some guitar scales can easily be picked up after a few practice sessions while others can take many weeks to master.

Instead of trying to master many scales at once, focus on one specific scale and practice it over and over until you feel as if you have mastered it. Only then should you proceed to learning another one. By doing this you will hurdle over the frustration that many people feel by learning too many scales at the same time and you will be able to learn much quicker this way.

Wrap Up

Now you know about the wonderful world of scales! These really are the building blocks of solid guitar playing and your ability to learn guitar scales successfully will dramatically increase your abilities. The key, just like everything else in learning the guitar is to practice, practice and practice. This is the only way you will get better and become not only a great guitar player but also an amazing musician as well.

If you are a beginner guitar player then you are going to need to start doing easy guitar lessons until you master the basics. This may sound obvious but many beginners start by trying to master songs and lessons that are too advanced and then they end up frustrated.

So do yourself a favor and stick with easy lessons and then as you progress you can tackle the more advanced lessons. This guide will give you an outline of the fundamentals that you will need to learn as a total beginner.

Points To Remember

Until your fingers toughen up expect them to hurt, this is totally normal and will go away with more practice.

In order to hold down notes properly you will need to make sure that you regularly trim your fingernails. If they are long then the sound will suffer as well as your ability to play.

Have fun! Do not take yourself so seriously as a beginner. Realize that everyone started out not knowing anything about how to play the guitar. Stop being a perfectionist and allow yourself to make mistakes and learn from them.

Click Here For Easy To Learn Guitar Lessons

Easy Guitar Lessons – The Basics

Strings

The best place to start when you are a beginner is to get to know your instrument. First up, lets take a look at the strings, on normal guitars there should be six of them. Each of the strings will be of a different size and have a different note value. Remembering the notes that are associated with each string can be tricky at first but there are tricks to help you learn such as mnemonics.

One easy to remember mnemonic is the following “Elephants And Donkeys Grow Big Ears”. So starting from the first string (bottom) to the last sting (top), the notes are E, A, D, G, B, E.

Frets

After you familiarize yourself with the strings you will need to learn about frets. If you have a look at your guitar neck you will notice metal strips that run across the guitar. These metal strips are what are called “frets”.

You will see that a grid is formed on your guitar by the strings and the frets. You play a note by putting your finger on a string between two frets. If you are right-handed then you will be using your left hand for fretting and your right hand will be used for picking. Make sure that you are not pressing your fingers on the actual frets, to play correctly you need to be pressing between the frets, not directly on them.

Positioning

The following points will help you to learn how to hold a guitar from a sitting position.

Sit on the edge of your chair and do not hunch your back. Position the guitar in your left hand and hold it close to your body. The neck of the guitar needs to be pointing left and slightly upwards.

Click Here For Popular And Easy Guitar Lessons

The guitar should be supported by your left leg (if you are right-handed)and allow the dip (sometimes called a “waist”) of the guitar to rest on your lap.

Comfortably place your right forearm on the lower bout, keep it aligned with the bridge of the guitar and you will be in the optimal position. In this position your hand should be close to the stings and it should be comfortable for you to sustain this position (after a bit of getting use to).

The left hand should be positioned with the thumb resting on the on the top edge of the guitar neck. The other four fingers should be placed on the stings on the fret board. The positioning of the fingers will be determined by what note or chord is being played.

Now you have the basic down, you know about guitar strings and the note that corresponds to each one. You have identified the frets and you know the way to play them is by pressing your fingers between the notes, not on the actual metal strips.

And last, you have learned about the optimum guitar positioning. All you need to do now to get the most out of the first of these easy guitar lessons are to familiarize yourself with the guitar and get use to the holding it in the optimum position.

Most people have the “need for speed” when it comes to learning things that they are passionate about. But can people learn guitar fast? Of course I am also assuming that the person is learning to become a great player as well and not just a quick but sloppy learner. So the answer is “yes” most definitely people can learn to play the guitar fast.

With the tips you are about to learn in this article you will be well on the path to turbocharging your guitar playing skills and abilities.

Practice, Practice, Practice!

Procrastination can be “enemy number one” when it comes to becoming a better guitar player but you need to fight through it and practice as much as possible.

Click Here To Learn The Guitar Super Fast

The more practice you put in the more you will get out of it. Some of the greats, such as Eddie Van Halen use to walk around the house with a guitar strapped to him so that any time he had a spare moment he could practice The fact is simple, if you do not practice you will not improve.

Surround Yourself With The Best

Do not play with musicians that are worse than you as you will limit yourself in how much you can accomplish. Instead choose to hang around great players and then you will be forced to step up your standards and push yourself to become a better player. If you do not know any talented musicians go on a search for them. Ask around, go to shows in your area, connect on Facebook and other online communities.

Learn To Read Guitar Tabs

If you want to learn guitar fast and be a proficient player then you will need to learn how to read music. Tablature or guitar tabs are the guitarist’s equivalent of sheet music. It is easy to learn if you apply yourself and put in the work to learn it.

Get In Tune

Purchasing a tuner is a great way to not only make you sound fantastic but it can also help with the task of becoming aware of the string and fret combinations that correspond with certain notes.

Believe In Yourself

How far do you think someone like Jimi Hendrix would have got if he had no belief in his ability? Self belief and confidence in yourself is one of the most important factors for being able to learn guitar fast and become a great player. Do not let doubts eat away at your ambition and dream, block them out and keep on practicing as much as possible.

Click Here To Start Playing Guitar Like A Pro

Learn Some Theory

Many guitarists hate theory but at the end of the day, if you know and understand a small amount of theory, you will be a better player. If you currently hate learning about scales, arpeggios, chords and harmonizing techniques then you will need to change your mind about them. Later down the track if you want to start creating your own music then learning theory can be the best way to formulate your songs and make the process much more creative.

These learn guitar fast tips are not going help you at all if all you do is read them. Take action on them, you do not need to do them all at once but the more you can start implementing the better player you will become and the faster you will be able to play the guitar.

Guitar music theory does not win many popularity contests with guitarists but it is essential for taking your guitar playing to the next level. Once a guitarist ventures beyond basic chords and scales and embraces music theory a whole new world of possibility opens up for them. If you are currently confused about how guitar music theory can benefit you then this article should clear that up for you!

Click Here To Easily Learn Guitar Theory

If you have ever wanted to know the inner workings behind music and how a song is structured and created, then by studying guitar theory you will gain these insights and much more. In fact if you ever want to create your own songs learning theory will give you the ability to be more creative and allow you the freedom to experiment and tweak songs so that they actually sound musical.

Becoming proficient in theory will help you to listen to a song and understand how all the elements and components such as scales and chords come together. If all you do is learn scales and chords but you do not understand what to do with them or how to apply them in musical arrangements then you are missing out on a big part of what music is all about.

Many guitarists struggle to really hear what they are playing and connect meaning to the sound they are hearing. Guitar music theory will open your ears so that you will be able to hear music in a whole new and exciting way.

If you ask different guitarists whether learning theory is worth investing you time in you will generally get two different responses. Some people view guitar music theory as unnecessary giving the reason that many guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix never even learned how to read music. Others will tell you that the best way to become a solid all round guitar player who is able to create and understand music as well as communicate to other players, is by learning theory.

I belong in the school of thought that supports guitar theory. I think it is an important investment of your time which can only make you a more skillful guitarist. But it is really up to you to decide whether learning theory is right for you and where you want to go with your playing.

If all you want to do is learn to play songs without wanting to know about song creation and understanding music, then music theory may not be for you. But if you want to create and perform your own songs, and become a well rounded musician then guitar theory is essential. My overall recommendation is to learn theory no matter what because it can only help you become a better player. So I think it is a simple decision!

So if you want to learn guitar music theory there are many resources online to help you or get an instructor. But the only way you have a solid command over music is to practice like crazy. You can only learn so much theory from teachers and from books. Practice is the only way you are going to transform yourself from good to great.
